Founded by Lorenzo of Spain in the sixteenth century, House Monodragon is the reigning dynasty in the Kingdom of Sanoria. House Monodragon earned a reputation for brutality, and a series of coups 50 years ago resulted in a peace treaty that divided their monopoly of the land. The recent murder of the king has thrown them into turmoil again, causing them to institute a quasi-military rule to protect the royal pair.
